The Road to WRESTLEMANIA

The Road to WRESTLEMANIA 29!

Wrestling fans it is here! This is the moment that we wait for, this is the most exciting part of the wrestling year! The Royal Rumble was the beginning and had very predictable ending which disappointed many fans while pleasing many others (as myself). Now we are currently on our way to the ELIMINATION CHAMBER pay-per-view with hopefully some room to grow before the big show. So far three very predictable things have happened. First being the Rock winning the title from CM Punk, second being John Cena winning the Royal Rumble, and finally the return of Bork Lazer (for the new guys it's Brock Lesnar). With the current situation I have some ideas and thoughts on how in my mind things should go. Now before I list any I would just like to inform readers that this is NOT a rant or me thinking my views are better then the WWE writers, I would just like to share some of my views and maybe score a future job after I win some titles.

1. The WWE championship:
I think everyone is expecting Rock vs. Cena again. It was just a little TOO predictable. I would like to change things up a bit. Maybe have a Wrestlemania 2000 four way match but this time having John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H w/ Vince McMahon vs. The Rock. The way this match could be set up is by having the left over rivalry with Brock Lesnar and Triple H come roaring back due to Lesnar's attack on Triple H's father in law. Lesnar could also come back and start some heat with the Rock since they have already had a rivalry in 2001-2002 and a few attacks could help that. Cena will be stuck there since he won the Rumble and of course with the "Never Give Up" attitude, he will go into that match feeling invincible. Now if this happens the big question is, who will face the Undertaker?

2. Undertaker Streak....
Now when people think of the Undertaker, they instantly think dark, legend, and the streak. The streak is one of the most amazing accomplishments in Pro Wrestling history and has great meaning to fans, but it has to run out the same time Undertaker does, and that's this year. For readers who don't know, WWE has been questioning whether or not Undertaker would be wrestling due to his current condition. I honestly think it is time for it to end and give someone a guarantee legend status. The question of course is who will get it? With all of the Public Wrestlers (big match winners and fan favorites) in the main-event. This will have to go to one of the hardest workers in the company today, CM Punk. Love him or hate him CM Punk is one of the best wrestlers to grace upon the Pro Wrestling industry. Punk has the skill, technique, and passion that makes him deserving of this opportunity. Of course Undertaker would have to let him, and then he would also have to wrestle.

3. Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho:
The "Show Off" vs. Y2J is a great fued which is heading in a good direction, but why not make it great? I think that WWE should turn Jericho into that edgy persona that Jericho has but while keeping him a good guy (like Stone Cold Steve Austin). I would like to see Jericho steal the Money in the Bank briefcase and do something crazy with it and have this really fuel up the rivalry. I think it would also be cool if we had a story-line where AJ (Dolph's girlfriend) broke up with Ziggler because he was a "loser" and start dating Jericho. Therefore AJ would turn face and her and Jericho could become a power couple. However, when it comes down to the WrestleMania match she would turn on Jericho and secretly be helping Ziggler (sort of like the WrestleMania 20 storyline but with Christian instead of Trish Stratus, plus we have a huge Big E. chilling out).

4. Ryback needs to be fed!
I think that Ryback should be in a big match up this WrestleMania, but the question is what? I think that Team Hell NO need to break-up and start going as single wrestlers. After this, Kane would have a #HEEL turn and Bryan would stay a babyface. Kane and Ryback could have a beginning fued which could lead up to a No Disqualification match at WrestleMania. Knowing this two guys, a no DQ match would be a real treat because when under certain circumstances, these men can be really creative. People were assuming that Big Show would face Ryback but let's face it. Big Show is too slow, and he won't be able to sell the stuff that Ryback needs in order to make him the character that he is. Now don't get me wrong, Big Show is a great worker but only when he has someone who can work with him extremely well (like Sheamus and Jack Swagger).

5. The World Heavyweight title:
I personally would like to see either one of two things happen. I would like to see the break up from Team Hell NO happen and have Daniel Bryan in the Elimination Chamber, which he would win and then go on to WrestleMania to face Alberto Del Rio. Alberto and Bryan are both fantastic technical wrestlers which would certainly give us a match that would rival Steamboat vs. Savage at WresteMania III. I would also like to see Randy Orton have a much needed push in which he could win the Chamber match, and go on to win the title at WrestleMania. Orton is just wasted talent right now, he never gets a story line and when he does it's for a couple of months. Now it just seems like he just shows up, does a ten minute match and then wrestles someone else. I think that a fued with a great wrestler like Alberto could really do him some good.

6. Divas:
Give the title to eve or layla, or tag match with a random female celebrity. Enough said.

7. The Mid-carders:
I would love to see a big tag match. I think that Zack Ryder, The Miz, and Rey Mysterio vs. 3MB (Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, and Drew McIntyre) would be phenomenal. We already know how great Miz, Mysterio, and Ryder are but 3MB are so under-rated. Heath and Drew are great workers, and Jinder can be decent when he learns a move, so I think that this could really give a good showcase of this generations talent.

8. Tag Team champions:
Since Team Hell NO (in my opinon) should break up, I think the titles should go to a great tag-team, who are also very under-rated. This Championship could give a big push to the holders, which is why I think the Prime Time Players (Darren Young, and Titus O'Neil) deserve them. They could hold the titles until WrestleMania and the lose them to one of the best tag teams today, The Uso's (Jimmy and Jey). The Uso's are one of the best Tag Teams in WWE today and they are hardly used which is very dissapointing. They have power, they are fan favorites, and they are naturals in the ring and it is a shame they are not on Raw or at least Smackdown. Hopefully with a shot it will allow these guys to get a lot of TV time.

9. U.S. and Intercontinental Championships
I like where the U.S. championship is. Antonio Cesaro is great, but he needs a rival. The perfect guy for him to work with is Jack Swagger. Swagger could let Cesaro show off his strenght while letting him bring out his technical side. Swagger is the All-American American, so him turning face against a guy like Antonio who is the international villain who had our title would be a great fued. Now with the Intercontinental title, WWE needs to stop the Bo Dallas storyline yesterday. It never should have started. He just got into the WWE and he already basically has a title shot. I personally think that it should be Wade Barret vs. Justin Gabriel. Gabriel is a high-flyer that really pumps up the crowd, and he has some impressive technique. He is a fantastic worker and one of the better younger guys and he deserves a push.

This concludes my Story line ideas. I would like to thank you for reading my personal thoughts on the Road to WrestleMania and I hope that you come back to see some more of my ideas. If you did like my ideas please share on facebook, I promise I won't be mad.
